Citizenship

This citizenship course gives students an understanding of the naturalization process. Topics include the rights and responsibilities of U.S. citizenship, U.S. History and Government, the N-400 application, language skills, and interviewing skills needed to pass the U.S. Citizenship exam.

  • Monday - Thursday:  1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (Beginning Low Online Class)

  • Monday - Thursday:  6:00 pm to 8:45 pm

  • Saturday:  8:00 am to 12:15 pm

  • Saturday:  7:30 am to 1:00 pm

ESL
Distance Learning

This Distance Learning course gives students an opportunity to learn English from home. Students watch level-appropriate videos (available online) and complete corresponding free worksheets (homework) at their own pace. Teachers collect worksheets and provide individualized feedback. This program is available for ESL levels 1, 2, and 3. The Distance Learning Program is great for students who are not able to attend other classes or who want to improve their language skills at a faster pace.

 

  • Monday - Friday:  8:00 am to 10:00 am

  • Tuesday & Wednesday:  5:00 pm to 7:30 pm 

 

ESL Videos are available online and worksheets are free!​

Technology Requirement

Students need to have a computer or tablet and internet access at home to be able to participate in our online classes. Smartphones can be used but they have limited accessibility to our platforms.

All our online classes are offered through Schoology and Zoom. New students are encouraged to download the Remind App to receive messages and updates from their teachers.
