Facts about Evans Community Adult School
- Opened in 1937 and is the largest stand-alone ESL adult school in the Nation
- Enrolls approximately 20,000 students annually and averages 4,000 students in daily attendance
- Continuous classes from 5:45 a.m. to 9:20 p.m. daily and Saturdays from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Enrolls students from over 90 different countries
- Maintains 42 classrooms on campus which operate at six time periods over a seven-day schedule with an average room usage of 89% and 100% usage at high demand periods
- Employs 160 certificated instructors
